Today is one of those days where I am determined to get a lot of tasks done. Laundry, dishes, change the bed sheets, wash the floors, blogging, email, modify the website and of course editing. Unfortunately, this is the day my dear 3 month old daughter is determined to stop me from getting those tasks done. She has decided that she will pull the 20 minute nap trick. She will nap just long enough for me to get something started and then wake up. Then there is a feeding, a diaper change, some play time and then another 20 minute nap. I'm not getting a lot done but it's not her fault. When the next nap time comes, instead of finishing the first task I started during the last nap I start a new one. Why? I'm not really sure. Maybe I think a long list of started tasks sounds better than a short list of completed ones.
So, I sit here at my laptop trying to multi task by eating lunch and blogging hoping to get this done before......got to go. She's awake again.

A PEACHY TIME
Whenever I go to the shopping mall I always go into the bookstore. I try to walk past but I can`t.
Last week I bought the children's novel James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. I remember reading it when I was young and thinking what a wonderful story it is. Now my son and I cuddle up before bed time and read the book together and I am enjoying it as much as he is. I always say to my son, “Just one chapter tonight” and he agrees. He knows just as well as I do that we are going to get wrapped up in the story and read 4 or 5.
I charish this time with him and I know he does too when he responds with a disappointed “Aww” when I tell him we're done reading for the night.

Love Those WebKinz
My son has two WebKinz and, even though I am an adult, I have to admit that I have one. I have a grey langur which is a monkey.
I enjoy the gem hunt and my favorite arcade game is Zingoz Pop. It's all the way down at the bottom of the list.
I'm going out today to see if there is a flamingo WebKin. I've looked it up on the internet and can't figure out if there actually is one. Some people say there is, some say it's coming out and others say it will never be made.
If I find one I'll post it here.
Do you have a WebKinz?
What is your favorite thing to do in the WebKinz world?
Post a comment or email me.
Tip: Never give anyone your password to your WebKin.

PICTURES ARE STARTING TO COME IN. WHERE'S YOURS?
Yes, I have received my first picture of a flamingo sent in by Robert B. I love the colour he used. Great job Robert!
I am looking forward to the next flamingo picture from you.
Email me your drawings of a flamingo and, with your permission, I will post them! (computer or photos of pictures you've drawn by hand) By sending me your drawing you are giving me permissions to post it on my blog with your first name and last initial. Kids, make sure you ask your parents' permission before sending me your drawing. This is not a contest and is open for anyone of any age.

YOUR FLAMINGO PICTURES
I love to draw and colour but I am an author not a graphic artist. Even though I am not very good at drawing I still try and I do it because I enjoy it so much. The more I practice the better I get.
Do you like to draw? How about on the computer?
